How do I convert text to speech?

Paste your text into the box on the home page, choose a language and a voice, and press Convert. When it's ready, press play to listen, or Download to save the file.

What's the difference between Basic and Advanced?

Basic shows just the text, language and voice. Advanced adds the audio format (MP3, WAV or OGG), speaking speed, pitch, and the pause between sentences.

What are "natural" and "standard" voices?

Natural voices use a neural model and sound close to a real person. Standard voices are available in more languages and are very clear, but sound robotic. Pitch only changes standard voices, and the sentence pause only changes natural voices.

How long can my text be?

• Without an account: 3,000 characters at a time.
• Free account: 5,000 characters at a time.
• Pro: 100,000 characters at a time. See pricing.

Long text is queued and made in the background. Keep the page open and the player appears when it's done.

How long do download links last?

Audio files are deleted 48 hours after they're made, so download anything you want to keep.

Can I use the audio in my videos or projects?
